Beschreibung

Information Engineering befasst sich mit der Bereitstellung, Aufarbeitung und Verteilung von Information, vom firmentinternen Systemen über Web-Auftritte bis hin zu sozialen Medien. Informationen unterliegen dabei einem Lebenszyklus, der von der Erstellung, Speicherung und Verteilung hin zur Anwendung der Information geht, die wiederum die Erstellung neuer Informationen zur Folge haben kann.

In dieser Veranstaltung werden Modelle, Methoden und Systeme vorgestellt, die die verschiedenen Phasen des Information Life Cyle unterstützen. Angesichts der sich schnell wandelnden Informationslandsschaft wird dabei besonderer Wert auf die Vermittlung der grundlegenden Konzepten gelegt.

Lernziele: Studierende sollen die besprochenen Konzepte nicht nur kennen und erklären können, sondern darüber hinaus in der Lage sein, diese Konzepte beim Design und der Beurteilung von konkreten Informationsprozessen anzuwenden.

Vorlesung und Übung finden ausschließlich online als Moodle-Kurs statt. (kein Einschreibschlüssel notwendig).
