Key aspects of our work are information retrieval, digital libraries and web-based information systems and we particularly pursue user-oriented research approaches. Currently we work on following projects:
Welcome at the Information Engineering Group of the Department of Computer Science and Applied Cognitive Science (Faculty of Engineering Sciences of the Universität Duisburg-Essen at CampusDuisburg). Our current work focuses on information retrieval, Social Media and Web-based information systems, with special emphasis on user-oriented research.
